Humans hold deep (moral) values that influence the way they act,
the things they buy. Products and services that reflect these values are in some sense ‘closer’ to the people that buy and use them. Integrating these values will make these products better products and enhance the chance of successful innovations.

Traditional development of IT products and services focuses on functional and technical requirements. Deep, moral values are seldom addressed explicitly. This research track addresses the requirement engineering of deep (moral) values, the modelling of these values and the implementation thereof in software.

This track is a special track in the sense that its deliverables are both final deliverables to society where they can be used and applied, and at the same time it provides tools and techniques to be used within the other research track. Since the former has the primary focus it is organized as a track.
